Late enrollment for kids classes (TK-6)

Late enrollment pricing

Tuition is prorated for the remaining classes at the regular rate. A one-time $200 late enrollment fee per student applies to enrollments after October 1, 2026.

The late enrollment fee covers the additional work of adding a student to an existing class.

We will provide the exact prorated amount after confirming placement and availability. See the late enrollment policy for payment-plan details.

Afternoon classes began August 26 and 27, and the homeschool morning program began September 2. Students may join during the academic year when a suitable class has space. Read the schedule announcement.

Submit the pre-enrollment form so we can confirm that a class has space and fits your child’s age and Italian level.

No payment is needed at the time of pre-enrollment. We will email you a confirmation with the proposed class and prorated tuition details. To finalize enrollment, you will need to pay the invoice attached to the confirmation email within 1 week after receiving the payment email. Pre-enrollment itself is not binding.

Enrolling in our Encinitas Monday class? The tuition below applies to the Kearny Mesa classes. The North County year is 29 classes instead of 33, so it has its own tuition table.

Late enrollment tuition for in-person 2-hour kids classes

The regular annual tuition below is the basis for proration. Your invoice covers only the remaining classes, plus the late enrollment fee when applicable and other applicable fees. See the late enrollment calculation.

$1,932 (new students)

$1,840 (returning students)

$1,656 (families enrolled with us for 2 or more years)

We recommend paying via Zelle to avoid credit card fees.

Materials fee

We charge an additional $150 materials fee for all kids joining in-person classes. This helps cover classroom supplies, photocopies, internet, utilities, and the cost of maintaining our school space. Books are not included in this fee.

Pickup times and late pickup

Children are expected to be picked up promptly at the scheduled end of class. A 10-minute grace period is free, after which a late pickup fee applies, and families who need a later pickup can request pre-arranged extended care at least 24 hours in advance. Background checks for children’s instructors

Employees assigned to teach or supervise children follow our criminal-background-screening policy. Ordinary privately enrolled classes and assignments funded through a charter school or another educational agency can have different clearance requirements. Read our background check policy.
