Late pickup and extended care policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Parents or authorized caregivers are expected to pick up children promptly at the scheduled end of the program.

Late pickup

A 10-minute grace period is provided at no charge.

After the 10-minute grace period, a late pickup fee of $20 for every additional 10 minutes, or any portion thereof will apply.

Examples:

• Pickup within 10 minutes after dismissal: No fee
• 11-20 minutes late: $20
• 21-30 minutes late: $40
• 31-40 minutes late: $60

Calling, texting, or otherwise notifying the school on the same day that you will be late does not convert the late pickup into extended care.

Pre-arranged extended care

Families who know in advance that they need a later pickup time may request extended care.

Extended care:

• Must be requested at least 24 hours in advance
• Is subject to staff availability and school approval
• Is charged at $25 per 30 minutes, or any portion thereof
• Is not guaranteed until approved by the school

Examples:

• Up to 30 additional minutes: $25
• 31-60 additional minutes: $50
• 61-90 additional minutes: $75

Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to the standard late pickup policy rather than the extended-care rate.
