Excellence is not achieved by chance - it is built through passion, dedication, and a commitment to every student’s success. We are thrilled to celebrate the exceptional performance of our AP Italian Language and Culture students on the 2026 College Board AP Exam.
An outstanding 66.7% of our students earned the highest possible AP score of 5, more than three times the national average of 19%. Every one of our students earned a score of 4 or 5, placing 100% of our class in the highest performance band.
This accomplishment is particularly significant when compared to this year’s national results. According to the College Board, only 41% of students nationwide earned a score of 4 or 5 on the 2026 AP Italian Exam. Our students’ results reflect not only their hard work and determination, but also the strength of a program that challenges, supports, and inspires them to achieve their very best.
At the heart of this success is Maura D’Andrea, whose passion for teaching, deep knowledge of the Italian language and culture, and unwavering commitment to her students create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Her personalized approach encourages students to build confidence, develop advanced language skills, and reach their full potential.
Our AP Italian program goes beyond preparing students for an exam. It fosters meaningful communication, cultural understanding, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the Italian language and heritage. Most importantly, it builds a classroom community where students are encouraged, challenged, and celebrated every step of the way.
We are incredibly proud of our students for this remarkable achievement and grateful to our families for their continued trust and support.
Congratulations to the AP Italian Class of 2026! Your success is an inspiration, and we look forward to celebrating many more accomplishments in the years to come.
Bravissimi! 🇮🇹
