New: Italian classes for kids in Encinitas, North County

We are opening a second in-person location for children in Encinitas. NEW one-hour TK-2nd class Mondays 4-5pm and grades 3-5 Mondays 4-6pm, September 2026 to May 2027.

Over the past year, several North County families told us the same thing: they wanted Italian for their children, but the drive down to Kearny Mesa on a weekday afternoon made it impossible. We spent the spring looking for the right space up north, and we found it.

Classes meet at San Dieguito United Methodist Church, 170 Calle Magdalena, with a native Italian teacher for each age group. No previous knowledge of Italian is required.

For adults, too: starting September 18, 2026 we teach a beginner Italian class for adults in the same Encinitas classrooms, on Friday evenings, 6:00-7:30 PM. That class is full for this session, and the intermediate class has been canceled, but write to us if you are interested and we will notify you if we are able to organize an additional class.
