Kids and teen Italian classes postponed by one week

Kids and fixed-schedule teen credit classes will start one week later, with enrollment extended through August 25 and no change to class totals.

We are postponing the start of all fixed-schedule kids and teen credit classes by one week because of teacher absences and to give more families time to enroll.

The number of classes remains unchanged. Each schedule included one backup week, which will now be used for regular instruction.

Updated class dates

• Italian as a New Language afternoon classes: Wednesdays, 4:00-6:00pm, August 26, 2026-May 19, 2027. This includes TK-6 groups and the fixed-schedule credit Italian as a New Language 5-6 class (for non-native learners).
• Italian for Italian Speakers afternoon classes: Thursdays, 4:15-6:15pm, August 27, 2026-May 20, 2027. This includes TK-6 groups and fixed-schedule credit classes for fluent speakers.
• Italian homeschool morning program: Wednesdays, 10am-12pm, with two 16-class sessions: September 2, 2026-January 20, 2027 and January 27-May 19, 2027.

Flexible-schedule credit classes remain arranged individually with enrolled students.

Enrollment extended through August 25

Families now have until August 25, 2026 to pre-enroll. Pre-enrollment is non-binding and requires no payment. See the finalized schedule announcement.
