New: Italian classes for adults in Encinitas, North County (Fall 2026)

In-person Italian classes for adults in Encinitas, North County San Diego. Beginner and intermediate sections, Fridays 6:00-7:30 PM, September 18 to December 18, 2026.

For years, adults in North County have had to drive to Kearny Mesa for our evening Italian classes. This fall we are bringing them north: two in-person Italian classes for adults in Encinitas, on Friday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

The two sections, beginner and intermediate, run at the same time in two adjacent classrooms at San Dieguito United Methodist Church, 170 Calle Magdalena, Encinitas, a short drive from the I-5. There is ample free parking on site. All our instructors are native Italian speakers.

The session runs for 13 classes, from September 18 to December 18, 2026, with no class on November 27 (Thanksgiving weekend). Tuition is $468 in full or four monthly payments of $128.70.

Each class requires at least five paid enrollments by noon on September 11. If a class does not reach the minimum, the school will cancel that class and issue full refunds.

Beginner Italian for adults, Friday in Encinitas

Start from the beginning. This section is for adults with little or no prior Italian: greetings and introductions, present tense, everyday vocabulary, and the pronunciation habits that make Italian click. Practical from the first evening, whether you are planning a trip to Italy, reconnecting with family roots, or working toward Italian citizenship.

Intermediate Italian for adults, Friday in Encinitas

For students who already have a foundation in Italian and want to speak with more confidence. We work on past and future tenses, pronouns, and connectors, and we spend a good part of each class talking: describing, narrating, disagreeing politely, and handling real situations in Italy.

Where we meet

Classes meet in two classrooms of the church education building, the same rooms used by our Monday classes for children. Parking on site is free and easy, even at 6:00 PM.

Convenient for adults in Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Leucadia, Olivenhain, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Carlsbad, and San Marcos.

Policies and discounts

• Family discount: For full-payment enrollment in the same class, the first student pays full tuition and each additional student from the same family receives 10% off automatically.
• Monthly plan: The four-payment plan costs $514.80 total (four payments of $128.70), including a 10% administrative fee. It covers one student per checkout and requires all four payments.
• School cancellation: If a class does not reach five paid students by September 11, the school will cancel that class and issue a full refund.
• Student cancellations: Full refund if canceled at least 15 days before the first class; 50% refund after that deadline but before the second class; no refunds after the second class begins.
