Italian Translation

Italian School of San Diego LLC provides Italian to English and English to Italian translations for documents and written materials. All our translators are native (mother-tongue) Italian.

We focus on clear, accurate translations that preserve meaning, tone, and cultural context. Italian includes regional nuances that are often missed by automated tools, especially in legal, academic, and formal documents.

Areas We Support

What We Translate

Process

  1. Review the request and confirm scope and deadlines.
  2. Translation by our translator.
  3. Review by our school director, Maura D’Andrea.
  4. Final proofreading and formatting.

Certificate of Accurate Translation

We provide a certificate of accurate translation signed by our school director, Maura D’Andrea. The certificate confirms the translation was completed by a qualified professional and is, to the best of our knowledge and professional judgment, complete and faithful to the source text. The certificate attests only to translation accuracy and does not verify the authenticity or content of the original document.

Apostilles

An Apostille authenticates public officials’ signatures on documents to be used outside the United States of America. We do not issue apostilles, but we can translate them. Note that we have received guidance from the Italian Consulate in Los Angeles that apostilles do not need to be translated and can be submitted in English.

If you need an apostille, it can be requested from the California Secretary of State by mail through their Sacramento office or in person at their Sacramento and Los Angeles offices.
