First literary contest of the Italian school of San Diego
A message from our school director Maura:
“Inventa, illustra e racconta una storia da solo o con i tuoi compagni”
Finalità dell’iniziativa è quella di avvicinare i bambini alla lettura e alla scrittura includendo tutti gli studenti dal Kindergarden alla Quinta.
Scrivere e leggere facilitano l’apprendimento del linguaggio, la formazione del pensiero, la comprensione dei grandi temi e lo sviluppo della creatività per questo motivo incoraggiamo i nostri studenti a scrivere molto e ad esprimersi in tutta libertà.
Discenti e docenti hanno lavorato con entusiasmo ed impegno realizzando dei piccoli tesori.
Lascio a voi l’arduo compito di votare queste opere che per me hanno già vinto tutte il primo posto emozionandomi e rendendomi tanto orgogliosa di tutti loro.
“Invent, draw and tell a story by yourself or with your classmates”
The aim of the initiative is to bring children closer to reading and writing inclusing all students from Kindergarden to 5th grade.
Writing and reading facilitate the learning of language, the formation of thought, the understanding of major themes and the development of creativity, for this reason we encourage our students to write often and to express themselves freely.
Learners and teachers worked with enthusiasm and commitment to create the little treasures.
I leave to you the arduous task of voting for these works that for me have already won all the first place, moving me and making me so proud of all of them.
