Tuition payment is due in 1 payment by the deadline listed on the enrollment page, unless you opt for the monthly plan.
Payment Methods
The preferred payment method is Zelle (free and supported by most US banks). We also accept checks and credit cards.
- Please make checks payable to
Italian school of San Diego LLC (do not forget “LLC”). - Payments via credit cards incur a 3.6% payment processing fee.
Payment Plans & Discounts
8-Payment Plan
The 8-payment plan allows you to pay in multiple installments while still committing for the full year.
- Fee: Includes an additional administrative fee of 20%.
- Schedule: 1/8 of tuition is due immediately to confirm enrollment. The remaining 7 monthly payments are due October 1st to April 1st. (Checks are not accepted for monthly payments).
- Example: An in-person class for a returning student (base tuition
$1840) costs a total of $2208 ($1840 * 1.2), split into 8 monthly payments of $276. - Late Fees: If a monthly payment is more than 2 weeks late, a $50 late fee applies. This increases to $100 for invoices unpaid for over 1 month. Please enable autopay via Wave or scheduled Zelle payments to avoid fees.
Sibling Discount
The first additional family member enrolled receives a 10% discount, the second a 15% discount, and so on (discounts are cumulative). For families with kids in both accredited and non-accredited classes, the higher discount applies to the lower tuition.
Late Enrollments
Enrollments are open all year, pending availability. Please contact us first to check availability and ensure the class fits your child’s age and level.
- Late enrollment tuition is 10% higher than the regular tuition for that class.
- We will send a pro-rated invoice based on the remaining classes. You can choose to pay in full or use the 8-payment plan (which includes the 20% administrative fee).
Cancellation Policies
Refund requests must be sent via email to admin@italianschoolsd.com.
Full-Payment Option
- 100% Refund: If cancellation is received 3 weeks before school starts.
- 50% Refund: If cancellation is received before the 3rd class.
- No Refunds: After the 3rd class.
Monthly Plan Option
- 100% Refund: If cancellation is received 3 weeks before school starts.
- Standard Cancellation: Requires a 30-day advance notice via email. A $50 administrative fee will be added to the account.
- No Cancellations: Accepted after March 31st.
